Further information on project

This project will cover a significant proportion of Stanmore College's IB students CAS/ TOK  elements of the course. It is hoped students undertaking the ASDAN Certificate of personal effectiveness qualification will also get involved. The ultimate aim is to allow any student at Stanmore College to get involved in the project and to integrate the exploration of human rights into a variety of curriculum areas. Stanmore College, London and the Rajagiri Public school hope to raise awareness of Human rights infringements in both the UK and India. It is hoped that this will result in an increased local and global awareness amongst staff and students of how human rights infringements can impact a society. Within this we hope to: -Foster international understanding and expand horizons of learning beyond geographical limits.
-To uphold commitment to traditional values, human rights , social justice and gender equality.
